Original Watermen Donates Board Shorts and Hats to Urban Surf4Kids

This year, Original Watermen donates a number of board shorts and hats to Urban Surf 4 Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children throughout San Diego County, Nevada and Mexico. This Saturday, a gift-wrapping party will be held at the Wave House in San Diego to prepare the gifts to be distributed in time for Christmas.

Original Watermen has always been dedicated to helping the community, particularly with youth causes. However, one cause that has always been especially close to the hearts of those at this company is Urban Surf 4 Kids, a non-profit organization that works with local foster and orphan homes for youth. This year, Original Waterman is donating board shorts and hats to fill the gift needs of many youth in San Diego, Nevada and Mexico.

Every year, Urban Surf 4 Kids, located on the web at http://www.urbansurf4kids.org/, sponsors a gift drive that allows youth from San Diego to Nevada and in Cabo, Todos Santos and Tijuana, Mexico, to enjoy a Christmas gift of surf gear and other items. Known as "Deck 'Em Out For the Holidays" and located on the web at at http://www.urbansurf4kids.org/deck-em-out/, this yearly drive offers hope and happiness to many youth who could otherwise never acquire surf gear to promote their progression in this sport. Now, Original Watermen, located on the web at www.originalwatermen.com, is donating a sizeable number of boardshorts and hats to Urban Surf 4 Kids and will be on hand at this Saturday's gift-wrapping party to lend support.

On December 13, the crew from Urban Surf 4 Kids, along with volunteers, will hold a gift-wrapping event where everyone is given children's names, ages and clothing sizes in order to pull items and wrap them for delivery. Southwest Airlines has generously donated free air service to deliver gifts to Nevada, while Volaris has donated air service to take gifts south of the border.
