Original Watermen to Lend Helping Hand to Families in Need

Original Watermen, a Vista, CA based distributor of lifeguard clothing and equipment, is introducing a program to donate equipment/uniforms to Junior Lifeguards from low-income families.

Original Watermen, online surf market retailer and lifeguard uniform supplier to over 2000 beaches and municipalities, will help aspiring Junior Lifeguards who couldn’t normally afford the program fees. The company is partnering with Junior Lifeguard Chapters around the country to allocate product to kids with dreams of becoming lifeguards but whose financial situation makes buying the necessary uniforms difficult.

Original Watermen has supported lifeguard teams around the country since 2005. The company sells cold weather gear such as hoodies and jackets, as well as T-shirts, Swimsuits and Boardshorts to retailers and lifeguard organizations worldwide. Original Watermen's new program will help insure low-income families get set up with needed Junior Guard uniforms for summer 2015.

The Junior Lifeguard Organization assistance program works in the classic method of “first come, first serve”. Original Watermen plans to donate needed clothing to the first 10 organizations that present their “Needs” to company public relations manager, Leif Madron, Leif@orginalwatermen.com.
